Velux Residential is seeking a Welder for our Greenwood, Indiana manufacturing location. The role focuses on welding aluminum skylight components, following production plans, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

This position requires TIG welding experience, the ability to work in a team, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production environment preferred.
• Proficiency with TIG welding of aluminum.
• Ability to read and follow production plans.

Responsibilities

• Performs welding setup and troubleshoots welding machine.
• TIG welds aluminum components as part of skylight assemblies.
• Reads and follows a daily production plan.
• Maintains production, quality, and safety standards.
• Keeps work area clean and follows 5S practices.
