Job summary

Our client in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking a Welder to support Ultra High Purity systems. This role emphasizes precision, safety, and reliability within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will perform TIG, orbital, and lathe welding, interpret engineering drawings, and work to high-quality weld standards while adhering to 6S principles and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year TIG welding experience with stainless steel.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding on components for Ultra High Purity systems, including tack, orbital, and lathe welds.
• Follow drawings, specs, and instructions to produce precise welds.
• Use TIG, orbital, and lathe welding equipment to assemble tubing and fittings.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety protocols and 6S practices.
• Support routine operations, maintain cleanliness, and assist in continuous improvement.

As a Welder, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting the production of ultra-high purity systems. The ideal candidate willdemonstrateprecision, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location:San Luis Obispo, CA

Pay Range:$24-25/hr

Shift:Monday throughFriday, 2nd Shift
3pm to 11:30pm

What'sthe Job?

• Perform welding tasks on components used in Ultra High Purity Systems, including tack welding, orbital welding, and lathe welding.
• Follow engineering drawings, specifications, and instructions to produce high-quality, precise welds.
• Utilize TIG welding, orbital welding, and lathe welding equipment to assemble tubing and fittings.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and work instructions.
• Participate in routine operations,maintaincleanliness, and support 6S responsibilities to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of TIG welding experience with stainless steel.
• Ability to interpret drawings and instructions accurately.
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 50lbsand stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
