Job summary

Advantage Technical is hiring a TIG Welder for its Orlando, FL operations. The role is a temp-to-hire position on day shift, with pay rate $32.00/hour.

You will join a growing manufacturing team focused on quality craftsmanship and long-term career potential. Primary duties include GTAW welding, reading blueprints, setting up equipment, inspecting welds, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of TIG welding experience
• Experience welding stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
• Able to pass welding qualification test
• AWS/ASME/API certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

• TIG (GTAW) welding on a variety of metals and components
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Prepare materials via fitting, cleaning, grinding, and alignment
• Inspect welds for quality and dimensional accuracy
• Use measuring tools and fabrication equipment as needed
• Follow welding procedures, quality requirements, and safety standards
• Complete production documentation and maintain a clean work area

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 11:00 PM
