Job summary

Employee Workplace in Orlando, FL is seeking a TIG Welder (GTAW) for a temp-to-hire role. Pay is $32.00/hour with 1st or 2nd shift options. Responsibilities include welding, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality. Minimum 2 years TIG experience and ability to pass a welding test are required.

We’re looking for skilled welders who can set up equipment, prepare materials, and maintain a clean, safe work area while meeting production goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of TIG welding experience.
• Experience welding stainless steel, carbon steel and aluminum.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Ability to pass a welding qualification test.
• AWS/ASME/API certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on various metals and components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prepare materials through fitting, cleaning, grinding, and alignment.
• Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy.
• Use measuring tools and fabrication equipment as needed.
• Follow welding procedures, quality requirements and safety standards.
• Complete production documentation and maintain a clean work area.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Requirements
