Job summary

Amtec Staffing is seeking an experienced MIG & TIG Welder to join our team in Los Angeles. The role focuses on precision welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum with strict adherence to project specifications and safety standards.

You will read blueprints, prepare materials, and inspect welds while maintaining a clean, organized work area and meeting production deadlines. Aerospace experience and welding certifications are a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of MIG welding experience
• 2+ years of TIG welding experience
• Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and welding symbols
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures
• Aerospace experience is a plus, but not required
• AWS, ASME, or other welding certifications are a plus, not required

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Length of assignment: Temp-to-Hire
• Rate: $23 - $28 per hour
