Responsibilities

1. Determine appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
2. Set up components for welding according to specifications, including cutting materials to match measurements.
3. Set up fixtures and use them per work instructions.
4. Operate grinders to prepare parts for welding.
5. Align components using calipers, rulers, etc., and clamp pieces.
6. Weld components using manual or semi-automatic equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead).
7. Repair machinery and components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
8. Test and inspect weld surfaces and structures for flaws.
9. Maintain equipment to ensure safety and optimal operation.

Qualifications

• TIG Welding Certification.
• Subject to drug screening, medical exam, reference check, and criminal background check.
• Pay rate: $18.50-$22.50/hour, negotiable depending on experience.
