Associated Staffing Inc. is hiring an experienced TIG Welder for a first-shift position in Hastings, Nebraska. This role focuses on precision welding and fabrication according to blueprints, with temp-to-hire potential.

You will operate arc and gas welding equipment, clamp and position parts, and maintain quality by testing against layouts. Qualified candidates will read diagrams, use measuring tools, and must pass a TIG weld test.

Qualifications

• TIG welding experience.
• Must pass a TIG weld test.
• Ability to read blueprints and safety rules.
• Ability to use measuring tools and instruments accurately.
• Basic math: fractions, decimals, ratios, percentages.
• Steel-toed boots required.
• Able to lift up to 10 lbs regularly, 25 lbs frequently, 50 lbs occasionally.
• Able to stand, bend, kneel and perform other physical tasks.

Responsabilités

What You ll Do

As a TIG Welder, you ll weld metal components using arc and gas welding equipment to fabricate and repair products according to layouts, welding diagrams and blueprints.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform TIG welding on metal components
• Read and follow blueprints, layouts and welding diagrams
• Bolt, clamp and tack-weld parts into position for welding
• Use tape measures, combination squares, protractors, vernier calipers and micrometers
• Produce accurate work while meeting close-tolerance requirements
• Follow safety procedures and work instructions

What We re Looking For

• TIG welding experience
• Must be able to pass a TIG weld test
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, safety rules and operating instructions
• Ability to accurately use measuring tools and instruments
• Basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, ratios and percentages
• Steel-toed boots required
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. regularly, 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, kneel, crouch and perform other physical tasks as needed
