Job summary

Servco Equipment Company in St. Louis, MO is seeking an experienced TIG Welder / Stainless Steel Fabricator to join our production team. You will weld thin-gauge stainless steel, read fabrication prints, and maintain high-quality, precise work.

Pay ranges from $22.00 to $26.00 per hour based on experience. This is a full-time, on-site role with potential overtime and weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets complex drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient TIG welding on stainless steel (12–20 gauge).
• Knowledge of welding procedures and basic metallurgy.
• 2+ years welding experience and 2+ years TIG welding.
• Experience reading fabrication prints and process sheets.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components and assemblies (12–20 gauge).
• Select welding procedures and techniques for proper penetration and strength.
• Read blueprints, fabrication prints, orders, BOMs, and process sheets.
• Fit-up parts using clamps/fixtures and maintain dimensional accuracy.
• Weld and assemble parts into sub-assemblies or complete assemblies.
• Inspect finished work for accuracy and quality before moving forward.
• Support other shop areas in a flexible team environment.

Servco Equipment Company (St. Louis, MO) is a local manufacturer specializing in custom commercial kitchen equipment and stainless-steel fabrication. We have an immediate opening for an experienced TIG Welder / Stainless Steel Fabricator to join our production team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components and assemblies (12–20 gauge).
• Select appropriate welding procedures and techniques to ensure proper penetration, fusion, strength, and alignment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication prints, production orders, bills of material, and process sheets.
• Fit-up parts using clamps and fixtures; maintain dimensional accuracy and alignment; spot weld/tack as required.
• Weld and assemble parts into sub-assemblies or complete assemblies.
• Inspect work for accuracy and quality prior to moving to the next step of manufacturing.
• Support other shop areas as needed (flexible team environment).

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings/blueprints.
• Strong working knowledge of welding equipment, welding procedures, material characteristics, and basic metallurgy.
• Proven TIG welding skill and familiarity with basic fabrication equipment/machines.
• Ability to weld 12–20 gauge stainless steel with consistent quality.
• Flexibility to work 1st shift, Saturdays, and overtime when needed.
