Job summary

Emerge is seeking a Welder - TIG (Cleveland) to perform TIG welding and fabrication on custom parts in a precision shop. You will read and interpret customer blueprints, grind and cut as needed, and work with GTAW, FCAW and GMAW spray transfer.

HS diploma required; shifts include 1st, 2nd, and weekend options with premium pay and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read and understand job instructions.
• Experience in GTAW, FCAW and GMAW Spray Transfer.
• Experience in Pipefitting.
• Experience in welding of Carbon, Stainless, or Nickel based alloys.

Welder - TIG (Cleveland)

The Goals and Challenges of this Role:

• TIG welding and fabricating on custom parts
• TIG Welding of Stainless Steels, C-276, Inconel 600 series
• ASME Code welding and Military Specifications
• Reading and interpreting custom blueprints and drawings from customers
• Grinding, sanding, and cutting (oxyfuel & hand plasma)
• Follow lean principles as well as safety and quality standards
• General welding and shop duties as needed

What You Should Bring to this Role:

• Demonstrated success in TIG welding
• Desire to constantly improve your welding abilities
• Desire and ability to use shop math
• Must be able to read and understand job instructionsExperience in GTAW, FCAW and GMAW Spray Transfer.
• Experience in Pipefitting
• Experience in welding of Carbon, Stainless, or Nickel based alloys
• Strong overall mechanical aptitude.
• HS diploma or equivalent

Pay Range: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour.

Available Shifts

1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Note: Overtime may be required (5:00 AM - 3:30 PM).
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM (4 x 10-hour shifts)
Benefit: Includes a $2/hr shift premium.
Weekend 1st Shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Benefit: Work 36 hours and receive 40 hours of pay.
Weekend 2nd Shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Benefit: Includes a $5/hr shift premium.
