Job summary

Gaylord Industries, a division of ITW, is seeking a Sheet Metal Fabricator to join the team in Tualatin, Oregon. The role features an hourly pay rate and a 4-10 schedule (Mon-Thu 5:00am-3:30pm) with welding and finishing responsibilities.

Candidates should have 1+ year Tig welding and grinding/polishing experience, read prints/diagrams, and possess a high school diploma or GED. Safety and teamwork are emphasized in this role.

Qualifications

• 1+ years Tig welding experience.
• 1+ years grinding/polishing experience.
• Successful completion of an internal welding demonstration test.
• Minimum age 18 years.

Responsibilities

• Tig fillet weld and finish stainless steel equipment and components with uniform width and depth.
• Ensure high quality standards are achieved and maintained.
• Analyzes plans, drawings, work samples, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of welding assignments.
• Follow all safety and housekeeping rules.
• Actively participate in Safety Program
• Cross train into other areas and job functions as needed.
• Willing to assist in other areas as needed.
• Welding is 20% of the assembly process.
• Installation of screws/nuts/bolts/rivets/silicone and more.
