We offer everything from custom-designed refrigeration systems to upkeep and maintenance. Due to our continuous growth, we are seeking qualified new teammates who share our drive and vision.

We are looking for a 6G GTAW Pipe Welder at our facility in Lyndhurst, VA. This manufacturing position involves fabricating and welding pipes and other structural components to support our field construction team.

Expected Pay: $30-35+ per hour

Experience Required: 5+ years

Shift: 1st

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Key Duties:

1. Weld pipe ranging from 3/4" to 18" (majority on 2" to 6" pipes)
2. Weld on critical components like compressors, vessels, evaporators, oil separators, and condensers
3. Cut, bevel, and fit pipes
4. Set up welding positions, fit piping, and perform independent welds
5. Weld 50 diameter inches in 8 hours
6. Perform load rigging, torch cutting, and leveling using measurement tools
7. Operate grinder and wire wheel
8. Assist on job sites with other duties as needed

Requirements:

1. Welding school graduate with 2+ years of welding experience; extensive pipe welding experience may substitute for formal education
2. Must pass a 6G GTAW dissimilar weld test (both purge & no purge) on 2" schedule 40 stainless steel to 2" schedule 80 carbon steel
3. Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
4. Willing to assist the shop team with insulation, electrical, and painting tasks
5. Familiar with rigging, torch cutting, grinding, wire wheel operation, leveling, and measurement tools
6. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring regular drug testing
7.
