Job summary

Amprod in Strafford, MO is seeking a dependable Class B Welder to support production with TIG and MIG welding. This role is ideal for welders with six months or more of experience who value attendance, safety, and craftsmanship.

You will read blueprints, tack weld, grind when required, and work across multiple welding positions. The job requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and adherence to PPE and safety requirements on a 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 3:30pm-1:30am).

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months MIG welding experience or Trade School training.
• TIG welding experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
• Reliable and dependable attendance is required.
• Ability to problem-solve and work well with a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG and MIG welding to production standards.
• Tack weld efficiently; grind when required.
• Work across multiple welding positions, including welding, tacking, stud, and bung welds.
• Read and interpret blueprints and part lists.
• Accurately measure using a tape measure.
• Safely operate shop tools and equipment.
• Follow all PPE and safety requirements.
• Stand for the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
