Job summary

SMX is seeking a Tier 3 Unified Communications Engineer to provide advanced engineering, administration, sustainment, and troubleshooting for UC, VTC, and conference room capabilities supporting classified and unclassified environments.

The successful candidate will ensure secure, reliable collaboration services for Government mission operations from Fort Bragg, NC. On-site with a TS/SCI clearance and Security+ certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
• 12–15 years of relevant experience.
• Security+ (IAT Level II) or equivalent.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience with Cisco/Tandberg codecs, networking, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, configure, operate, and maintain Cisco/Tandberg UC/VTC systems.
• Provide Tier 3 troubleshooting, fault isolation, and root-cause analysis.
• Schedule and support executive-level VTC sessions and conference services.
• Develop SOPs, conduct site surveys, and recommend technical improvements.
• Perform asset accountability, lifecycle management, and system security functions.
• Support multi-classification VTC environments and bridge operations.
• Train end users and IT staff on supported capabilities.
