Job summary

Geauga Metropolitan Housing Authority is hiring a full-time Tier 3 Property Maintenance Tech in Chardon, OH. The role offers a starting pay of $23.20 per hour with a benefits package including health, dental, vision, a pension plan, paid holidays, and generous PTO.

You’ll lead repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems across five properties. You’ll manage work orders, ensure safety and quality, and participate in on-call coverage with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in building maintenance with at least two trades.
• Ability to work throughout Geauga County: Chardon, Newbury, Middlefield, and Chagrin Falls.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex maintenance and repair projects across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems.
• Diagnose issues and deliver lasting solutions.
• Manage work orders from start to finish with safe, efficient, and high-quality work.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance at multiple properties to reduce emergencies.
