Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher or completed 48 hours of collegiate study and required exams (WorkKeys, Oklahoma General Education Test) for employment.
  • Must complete Paraprofessional training within 120 days of employment.
  • Ability to perform all essential duties.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop IEPs.
  • Assist students with daily tasks as directed by the teacher.
  • Assist teachers with lessons, classroom management, and material development.
  • Track student progress and prepare parent reports.
  • Communicate with staff and professionals about student progress.
  • Work with small group activities.
  • Assist students with appropriate behavior.
  • Implement individualized education programs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
