Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Tier 2 Shift Lead to detect, triage, and respond to cyber security events in a 24x7 environment. You will analyze logs from host, EDR, firewalls, and servers to identify threats and coordinate remediation with CIRT teams.

Responsibilities include leading Tier 2 shift tickets, recommending improvements, and assisting with candidate interviews while ensuring coordinated remediation actions are implemented correctly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with relevant IT/security experience.
• Certifications listed or equivalent experience required; continued certification required.

Responsibilities

• Detect and report cyber security events and incidents.
• Analyze logs from multiple sources to identify threats.
• Perform malware analysis and generate IOCs.
• Coordinate remediation actions with CIRT teams.
• Monitor and respond to SOAR platforms and tickets.
