Job summary

ShorePoint, LLC in Washington, DC is seeking a Tier 2 Analyst (Secret Clearance) to support enterprise SOC operations by reviewing and responding to escalated tickets from Tier 1.

This role applies working knowledge of cybersecurity to improve incident detection, analyze threat intelligence and support both unclassified and classified environments. The position offers growth, a collaborative culture and a path to advance within a fast-growing cybersecurity services firm.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles, SOC operations and incident response.
• Familiarity with cyber threat intelligence and its use in SOC workflows.
• Experience investigating alerts and supporting incident detection.
• Ability to resolve moderately complex technical issues with limited supervision.
• Understanding of both classified and unclassified environments.
• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Applicants must hold an active Secret clearance.
• Industry-recognized certifications.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a Tier 2 Analyst (Secret Clearance) to support enterprise SOC operations by reviewing and responding to escalated tickets from Tier 1. This role applies working knowledge of cybersecurity to improve incident detection, analyze threat intelligence and support both classified and unclassified environments. The Tier 2 Analyst position requires the ability to work under limited supervision while applying technical expertise to moderately complex problems.
