Job summary

ShorePoint, LLC is seeking a Tier 2 Analyst (Secret Clearance) in Washington, DC to support enterprise SOC operations by analyzing escalated tickets and improving incident detection. The role requires strong cybersecurity knowledge and the ability to work with both classified and unclassified environments.

Qualified applicants should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a history of relevant work, ideally with industry certifications. The position offers a benefits package including comprehensive health coverage and PTO.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into actionable tasks.
• Applicants must hold and maintain an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Review and respond to tickets escalated from Tier 1 analysts.
• Analyze and apply cyber threat intelligence.
• Support incident detection and analysis.
• Investigate alerts and anomalies.
• Document findings and contribute to incident reports.
• Collaborate to improve detection processes.
• Support continuous improvement of SOC procedures.

Skills

Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles

Familiarity with cyber threat intelligence
