Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Wisconsin Dells is seeking an IT Tier I Technician to join our IT team. You will perform technical assistance for the resort and convention center’s IT systems, logging issues, and coordinating with users to resolve problems quickly.

The role emphasizes patient, empathetic service, clear communication, and teamwork—critical to keeping guests and staff connected across all departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred.
• 2+ years of computer programming is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Install selected software, maintain proper security levels and access rights.
• Ensure the quality of systems operations in all areas of the company by communicating with all levels of users and offering direction and assistance.
• Facilitate the flow of information within the IT Department through department meetings and daily stand-ups.
• Ensure maximum service level and satisfaction to all systems users.
• Conduct an inventory of all systems on property and maintain records.
• Maintain knowledge of all relevant software and network applications.

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking anIT Tier I Technician. In this role, you will be part of an IT team responsiblefor performing technical assistance to the Resort and Convention Center's IT systems. Key Responsibilities

• Install selected software, maintain proper security levels and access rights.
• Ensure the quality of systems operations in all areas of the company, by communicating with all levels of systems users and offering direction and assistance as needed.
• Facilitate the flow of information throughout the IT Department, by attending regularly scheduled department meetings and participating in daily stand-up meetings.
• Ensure a maximum level of service and satisfaction to all systems users is achieved and maintained.
• Conduct an inventory of all systems on property and maintain accurate records by updating information as needed.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all appropriate software and network applications.

WhatWe’reLooking For

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred.
• 2+ years of computer programing is helpful.

The ability to constantly walk andmove frequently throughout a large facility and to push/pull carry and otherwise move heavy objects.

• General knowledge of the practices and procedures of a convention center, hotel conference services, waterpark, theme park environment helpful.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with a customer-service mindset, the ability to support guests and operational teams, and a collaborative approach to working across departments and assisting teammates as needed.
