Job summary

COMSO, Inc. is seeking a skilled System Administrator to support federal government programs in Maryland. You will respond to user inquiries, log and track tickets, diagnose issues, and guide users through troubleshooting steps. You may mentor junior staff and escalate complex problems as needed.

Required: TS/SCI with poly, IAT Level 1, and 5+ years of SA experience; shifts include daytime or evening blocks. Salary ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 with strong benefits and 401K features.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience as a System Administrator in programs/contracts of similar scope.
• Five additional years substitution for a Bachelor’s degree.
• Security clearance TS/SCI with polygraph required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, chat or ticketing systems.
• Log and track support requests using a help desk ticketing system.
• Diagnose and resolve basic IT issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Provide step-by-step guidance for troubleshooting and mentor new hires as needed.
• Escalate complex issues to second-level or specialized teams.
