Job Summary

Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Administration and Finance (AVP), the Ticket Sales and Operations Specialist performs administrative, technical, and analytical duties. They provide day-to-day support to the Box Office, including sales, operations, cash control, and event management. The role involves independent research, policy development, and leadership in projects and events, including supervising student assistants. The position requires interaction across university levels and handling sensitive information.

Key Qualifications

A bachelor's degree plus three years of responsible experience in customer service or related administrative work is required. Two years of ticket sales experience and familiarity with web-based ticketing software are preferred. Proficiency in computers, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is required. Knowledge of AudienceView and PeopleSoft is a plus.

Salary and Benefits

The starting salary ranges from $4,598 to $4,998 per month, depending on experience. This full-time, exempt position offers potential for permanent status after probation. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, retirement (CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation, sick leave, and 15 paid holidays.
