• Assume 100% responsibility for quality of guests experience
• Assure prompt service to all guests
• General ticketing duties and accurate cashiering during transactions
• Read and sign the daily memos that will include updates on pricing and events
• Offer specials and provide information on daily events and accurate descriptions of all attractions, including operating hours and prices
• Maintain a neat appearance that includes a full uniform as specified by Department Head
• Maintain a neat and orderly workstation, ensuring that the station is left in an orderly manner complete with needed supplies upon cashing out
• Accurate accounting of all monies received during shift
• Follow procedure for cashing out as set by Department Head
• Any and all other duties as assigned; duties are subject to change as management deems necessary to best serve the needs of Moody Gardens

JOB SUMMARY:The Cashier is responsible for daily customer service duties which include giving accurate directions to the attractions, offering colorful descriptions of the various attractions and events on property and assist guests as needed in a friendly, courteous, and compassionate manner. Additionally, this employee is responsible for accurate ticketing and cashiering.POSITION AUTHORITY:The incumbent is authorized to take reasonable action necessary to carry out assigned duties and responsibilities, provided such action is consistent with position guidelines as outlined below.POSITION GUIDELINES:Position guidelines include, but are not limited to, established company and department policies and procedures and all supervisory directives.
