Job summary

Caesars Sportsbook in Columbus, OH is looking for a Ticket Writer to provide outstanding customer service at our retail sportsbook. You will guide guests through betting options, answer questions, and ensure compliance with Title 31 and gaming regulations.

Reporting to the District Manager, you will manage cash transactions, assist new customers with bets, and maintain a welcoming environment while upholding Caesars’ standards of service and integrity.

Qualifications

• Must have 21 years of age or older.
• Must have 1+ years of cash handling experience.
• Must successfully pass a drug screen and background check and obtain a gaming license.
• Strong customer service skills and professional presentation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform simple math and maintain accuracy in transactions.
• Adherence to all compliance requirements for the company and Ohio Casino Control Commission.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service to patrons entering sportsbooks.
• Adhere to all rules and regulations set forth by the company and the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
• Answer customer questions to assist informed wagering decisions.
• De-escalate disputes and escalate to supervisor when needed.

• Represent Caesars with professionalism and high standards.
• Ensure Title 31 paperwork/documentation is completed per policy and gaming board standards.

Reporting to the District Manager, you will be face of our retail operations. By providing a high level of customer service, to both regulars and “novice bettors”, you will ensure everyone is made to feel welcome.

As an expert in our menu of sports betting options, you will help advise and answer customer questions to help them make an informed, responsible decision with their sports wagering. How You Will Create the Extraordinary

• Provide a high level of customer service to anyone who comes into our sportsbooks
• Adhere to all rules and regulations set forth by the company and the Nevada Gaming Control Board
• Answer all customer questions to the best of your knowledge or seek to find out the answer in a timely manner
• Try to deescalate customer disputes/complaints and escal… to direct supervisor when needed
• Communicate and promote our menu of sports betting options to customers
• Act in a professional manner, representing William Hill with the highest of standards
• Ensure that all necessary compliance (Title 31) paperwork/documentation is filled out according to company policy and gaming control board standards
• Other duties as assigned

What You Will Need

• The ability to sit/stand for extended periods at a time
• Must have basic computer knowledge (Email, MS Excel, internet, etc.)
• H.S. Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Successfully pass a drug screen, background check, and obtain a gaming license
• Must have 1+ years of cash handling experience
• High level of customer service
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including so nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred
• Present yourself in a professional manner
