Job summary

Legends Global in Tucson is seeking a part-time Ticket Seller for the Tucson Convention Center/Arena to sell tickets for TCC events. This is an event-driven role requiring flexibility for days, nights, weekends, and holidays based on the schedule.

You will provide warm guest service, operate Ticketmaster to process sales, handle cash and card payments, and balance the drawer daily. Prior money handling and some ticketing/entertainment experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 2 years’ experience handling money or payments.
  • At least 6 months ticketing experience or entertainment industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guests with a positive first impression through superior guest service.
  • Process ticket sales at the window and operate the Ticketmaster system.
  • Accept payments by cash or credit card and balance the cash drawer daily.
  • Answer questions about events and assist customers at the window or over the phone.

Job description

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for Ticket Seller for the Tucson Convention Center/Arena. This position will be selling tickets to customers for TCC events. This is a part‑time position, and the scheduled hours are event driven.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide all guests with a positive first impression by offering superior guest service
  • Process ticket sales for TCC Events must be familiar with all TCC Venues
  • Accurately operates the Ticketmaster computer ticketing system to sell tickets
  • Research Ticketmaster accounts sales and print and prepare will call
  • Provides customer service by answering questions regarding all TCC ticketed events and researching information when required; both at the window and over the phone
  • Accept payments via cash or credit card
  • Balance cash drawer at the end of the day
Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
  • At least two years’ experience handling money and other forms of payment
  • At least 6 months ticketing experience or experience in the entertainment industry preferred
Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and understand verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays based on event schedule
  • Ability to pass a credit and criminal background check
Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have some experience with computers.
