Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Ticket Seller to support ticket sales for shows and events. You will open/close the window, dispense tickets, handle payments, and maintain accurate daily cash and ticket records. Responsibilities includeWill-Call processing, seat reservations, and delivering prompt customer service.

Ideal candidates have a high school degree, 1 year of related experience, and the ability to pass background and credit checks. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year related experience or training preferred.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Must pass a criminal background check and a credit check.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes ticket window as required.
• Accurately dispenses tickets and handles payments.
• Maintains accurate cash and ticket counts; balances at shift end.
• Completes daily ticket sales report and cash drops.
• Fills reservations for seats by phone or mail; Will-Call handling as needed.
• Demonstrates strong customer service; answers questions about prices, seating, events.

The Role

The TicketSellerisresponsible forticket sales for shows or events by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsabilities

• Opens and or closes ticket window as required.
• Accurately dispenses tickets as requested by patrons; accepts payment and makes changes accurately.
• Maintains accurate count when selling hard tickets or accesses computers for count of computer printed tickets.
• Completes daily ticket sales report. Keeps accurate daily balance sheet of cash received and tickets sold; balances sales and change bank and submits cash to Box Office supervisor or manager for audit.
• Fills reservations for seats by telephone or mail, handles Will-Call window according to procedures, or other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills; responds promptly to customer needs, responds to requests for service and assistance, able to work independently and handle most box office questions without assistance.
• Efficiently and courteously answer questions concerning prices, seating, and events. Gives information concerning coming attractions.
• Files various records and reports. Performs related to clerical work as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

• High School Degree
• Or 1-year related experience and/or training
