Job summary

Palisades Tahoe is seeking a Ticket Scanning Supervisor to support the Manager and Asst. Mgr. in leading staff at the gates and line management, enhancing guest service and ticket accuracy in a dynamic mountain environment.

You will train scanners on tablets and RTP software, run audits, deter fraud, and help coordinate with lift operations to boost overall profitability and guest satisfaction. Benefits include ski privileges and healthcare options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a resort environment preferred.
• Supervisor experience required.
• RTP software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with top quality guest service in a friendly and positive manner.

Work with the Ticket scanning Management to implement plans to support these goals to ensure increased profitability for the operations.* Check all tickets and passes, assure tickets and passes are valid and current. Conduct on mountain ticket and pass audits.* Handle fraudulent ticket and pass situations with professionalism and in-line with company standards.* Send End of Day update daily. Assist & contribute with daily Morning Meetings. Attend and participate in regular meetings as directed.* Assist management in supervising the Ticket Scanning department. Assist in supervisory responsibilities such as training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.* Enforce safety standards in accordance with company policies and procedures.* Assist management with forecasts, scheduling, business plan, payroll, and communicating variances to budget in a timely manner.* Communicate to employees and work team’s necessary information in a timely, clear, and concise manner.
