Salary Range: Up to $36,890 annualized,commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications.

Job Summary

The Ticket Sales Representative is responsiblefor maximizing ticket sales, revenue, customer acquisition, andcustomer relationships across all ticketed sports and homeevents.

Core Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for selling season tickets, special events, partialplans, and group packages via phone calls, face-to-faceinteractions, and in-stadium.
  2. Responsible for selling corporate packages, mini-plans, singlegames, groups, and promotional offers for all sporting events.
  3. Contacts existing and previous clients and reaches out to newpotential leads through cold calling, to stimulate sales.
  4. Contacts local businesses and individuals via phone, in-personappointments, and networking events to sell season, corporate,partial, and group ticket plans.
  5. Assists during home games by carrying out a range ofresponsibilities related to ticket sales and customer servicesthroughout the event.
  6. Maintains relationships to encourage repeat business byproviding excellent customer service.
  7. Achieves and exceeds sales goals established bymanagement.
  8. Creates opportunities for new business with existing and newcustomers.
  9. Delivers exceptional customer service to clients consistentlythroughout the entire season.
  10. Enters data into databases and systems and maintains regularcommunication to report individual sales progress.
  11. Collaborates with marketing and ticket operations to contributeinsights to sales and messaging calendars, also drafts andproofreads the copy.
  12. Assists the Athletics Development team by reaching out tocontacts and offering opportunities for donordonations/fundraising.
  13. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • One (1) year of related work experience.
  • This position may require the ability to maintain the securityand integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure per TexasEO-GA-48.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge and understanding of policies of the NCAA, AmericanAthletic Conference, and the University of Texas at SanAntonio.
  • Ability to recognize and capitalize on opportunities tostrategize on sales with customers.
  • Knowledge of building customer relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Working Conditions
  • Office environment. Ability to travel to and from meetings,training sessions, or other business-related events. After-hoursand weekend work are required occasionally.
Physical Demands
  • Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary ifwalking and standing are required, only occasionally. Exerts up to10 lbs. of force occasionally.

This position will work primarily on campus.Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.

This position is contingent upon a successful background check.Verification of a valid driver's license and Motor Vehicle Record(MVR) may be completed as applicable. Applicants selected must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States bytime of hire.
