Job summary

Mountainland Supply in St. George, VT is seeking a Ticket Puller to support warehouse operations. You will read orders, pull and stage items, and prepare shipments with attention to accuracy and safety.

This role requires lifting up to 75 lbs, operating a forklift, and collaborating with shipping and warehouse teams. Back-up driver duties and occasional deliveries are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Willingness to participate in pre-employment and random drug screenings.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and safely operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Read customer orders to determine items to pull, gather, and stage.
• Locate materials using warehouse systems and RF gun.
• Assemble orders and place on pallets or transfer to packing/shipping areas.
• Maintain and compile inventory records as required.
• Back-up driver duties and occasional deliveries.
• Uphold safety and quality control standards and support team objectives.

The Ticket Puller plays a vital role in warehouse operations by accurately pulling, staging, and preparing customer orders for shipment. This position is responsible for reading and interpreting order information, locating materials using warehouse systems, and ensuring orders are assembled correctly and efficiently. The Ticket Puller works closely with the shipping and warehouse teams to maintain inventory accuracy, support timely order fulfillment, and uphold quality control standards. Success in this role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, safe equipment operation, and a strong commitment to teamwork, safety, and the company’s core values. Please note this postion will also require you to be a back up driver and make deliveries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensureahighlevelofcustomerserviceisalwaysprovided
• Readcustomerorder,workorder,shippingorder,orrequisitiontodetermineitemstobepulled,gathered,and stagged
• Transfermaterialsfromstorageorworksitestothedesignatedareabyhandorusingahandtruck,electricdolly, or forklift
• Sortandplacematerialsoritems onracks,shelves,orinbinsaccordingtopredeterminedsequence,suchas size, type, or product code, using a radio frequency gun (RF gun)
• Determinethelocationforretrievalofitemsusingaradiofrequencygun(RFgun)
• Maintainandcompilerecordsasrequired,includingtherecordofinventory
• Assemblecustomerordersfromstockandplaceordersonpalletsorshelves,ortransferorderstothepackingstation or the shipping department
• Practice quality control measures to ensure order accuracy
• Mayassistinmaintainingaclean/orderlywarehouseandyard
• Performothervariousduties,asoutlinedbythe supervisor
