Job summary

Mountainland Supply is seeking a Ticket Puller to pull, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse. You will read orders, locate materials with RF guns, and ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to company values while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the shipping process. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring lifting up to 75 lbs and forklift operation.

Qualifications

• Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be pulled, gathered, and staged.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Willingness to participate in pre-employment and random drug screenings.
• Ability to safely drive a forklift.
• Work in warehouse conditions with hot and cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Pull, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Read and interpret orders to determine items to pull.
• Use RF gun to locate items and ensure correct placement.
• Maintain and compile inventory records as required.
• Support packing/shipping and keep the warehouse organized and safe.

Job description

The Ticket Puller plays a vital role in warehouse operations by accurately pulling, staging, and preparing customer orders for shipment. This position is responsible for reading and interpreting order information, locating materials using warehouse systems, and ensuring orders are assembled correctly and efficiently. The Ticket Puller works closely with the shipping and warehouse teams to maintain inventory accuracy, support timely order fulfillment, and uphold quality control standards. Success in this role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, safe equipment operation, and a strong commitment to teamwork, safety, and the company’s core values. Please note this postion will also require you to be a back up driver and make deliveries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensureahighlevelofcustomerserviceisalwaysprovided
• Readcustomerorder,workorder,shippingorder,orrequisitiontodetermineitemstobepulled,gathered,and stagged
• Transfermaterialsfromstorageorworksitestothedesignatedareabyhandorusingahandtruck,electricdolly, or forklift
• Sortandplacematerialsoritems onracks,shelves,orinbinsaccordingtopredeterminedsequence,suchas size, type, or product code, using a radio frequency gun (RF gun)
• Determinethelocationforretrievalofitemsusingaradiofrequencygun(RFgun)
• Maintainandcompilerecordsasrequired,includingtherecordofinventory
• Assemblecustomerordersfromstockandplaceordersonpalletsorshelves,ortransferorderstothepackingstation or the shipping department
• Practice quality control measures to ensure order accuracy
• Mayassistinmaintainingaclean/orderlywarehouseandyard
• Performothervariousduties,asoutlinedbythe supervisor
