Job summary

USGA is seeking a Long-Term Ticket Operations and Accreditation Intern to assist with ticketing, credentials, admissions and guest services for major championships. The role includes learning SeatGeek, Unify and Freshworks platforms, supporting group sales and on-site box office operations in Liberty Corner, NJ, with substantial travel during championship weeks.

The internship runs January 2027 through July 2027, with a 3-day in-office schedule and travel roughly 30 days May–June.

Qualifications

Familiarity with live events, ticketing, customer service and/or operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Excel and reporting a plus.
Strong communication and guest-service mindset.

Responsibilities

Serve as the point of contact for mobile ticket resolution for groups.
Learn and use SeatGeek and Unify platforms for ticketing needs.
Assist with Freshworks for customer inquiries via email, phone, and chat.
Create public resources like tutorials and FAQs.
Maintain records and reports on ticketing and service metrics.
Support group sales efforts with bulk ticket buyers.
Learn credentialing workflows in Accredit Solutions.
On-site ticket sales and credential distribution with top-tier service.
Collaborate with marketing, operations and hospitality to enhance guest experience.
Manage admissions gates and on-site operations while upholding policies.
