Job summary

Radisson-Hotel-Group in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a customer service oriented team member to process ticket orders at the ticket office, handle mail and group orders for the Event Center, and operate the Etix system with accuracy.

You will maintain excellent patron relations, respond to inquiries, and support safety and reporting processes. The role requires cash handling experience, strong problem solving and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent skills in customer relations, communications and problem solving.
• Cash handling experience.
• Sales and customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
• Able to sit or stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more.
• Able to stoop and bend.
• Occasionally able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Able to comply with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Process all types of ticket orders placed at the ticket office directly.
• Process mail orders for all events held at the Event Center.
• Process group orders for all events held at the Event Center.
• Process credit card orders by phone.
• Maintain good customer relations and service.
• Provide information to patrons concerning hockey games, special events, and general facility facts.
• Answer customer inquiries and mails appropriate information as requested.
• Understand the functions and operations of the Etix System.
• Attend staff training.
• Becomes familiar with necessary reports: Injury Reports, Customer Complaints, Incident Reports, etc.
