Saddleback Mountain in Rangeley, ME is seeking a friendly Ticket Office Associate for a part-time seasonal role. You will greet guests, sell lift tickets, season passes, lessons, rentals, and gift cards, and provide helpful information about the mountain.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with friendly, professional customer service.
  • Sell lift tickets, season passes, lessons, rentals, gift cards, and other resort products.
  • Answer questions regarding mountain operations, trail conditions, weather, events, and resort policies.
  • Process cash, credit card, gift card, and other payment transactions accurately.
  • Balance cash drawers and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist guests with online purchases, waivers, account questions, lost passes, and ticket issues.
  • Work closely with Ski & Ride School, Rentals, Lift Operations, and other departments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.
  • Stay current on products, promotions, pricing, and daily resort operations.
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate.

Since reopening, Saddleback has invested more than $30 million in mountain improvements, including a renovated base lodge, four new lifts, including the high-speed Rangeley Quad, expanded snowmaking and grooming, a 7-MW DC solar farm, electric vehicle chargers, an on-mountain staff house, and The Nest, a new mid-mountain restaurant and venue space. Pay:$15.11-17 per hour

Position Summary

Ticket Office Associate are often the first people our guests meet and play a key role in creating an outstanding experience from the moment guests arrive. This position provides friendly, efficient customer service while selling lift tickets, season passes, lessons, rentals, gift cards, and other resort products. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, stays organized in a fast-paced environment, and works well as part of a team

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome every guest with friendly, professional customer service.
  • Sell lift tickets, season passes, lessons, rentals, gift cards, and other resort products using RTP and other resort systems.
  • Answer questions regarding mountain operations, trail conditions, weather, events, and resort policies.
  • Accurately process cash, credit card, gift card, and other payment transactions.
  • Balance cash drawers and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist guests with online purchases, waivers, account questions, lost passes, and ticket issues.
  • Work closely with Ski & Ride School, Rentals, Lift Operations, and other departments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.
  • Stay current on products, promotions, pricing, and daily resort operations.
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and ESCALATE issues when appropriate.
