Job summary

Brunswick Thunder Jet Operations in Clarkston, WA is seeking an Upholstery Team Member to assemble and prepare seats for high-quality fishing boats. You will join a team that uses a range of hand and power tools to craft durable seating components for Thunder Jet boats.

Responsibilities include contributing to all areas of the upholstery process, standing for long shifts, and lifting up to 50 pounds. A HS diploma is preferred, with fabrication experience welcomed.

• Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for 10+ hour shifts.
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.

Position Overview

As part of the talented Thunder Jet team member of the upholstery team member you will be tasked with responsibilities that will include assembling and preparing the seats.

Essential Functions

• The upholstery team members will work with tools, materials, and equipment to build respective components while maintaining a high-quality standard.
• Will contribute to all areas of the upholstery process.

Required Qualifications

• Working knowledge of a variety of hand/power tools.
• Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for 10+ hour shifts.
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Product design and fabrication experience preferred.

Working Conditions

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk, hear, see, sit. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, balance, and use arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp, and move a variety of materials.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level in moderate to high in the manufacturing setting

The anticipated pay range for this position ranges grade 2.5 $20.20-$21.00. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.

At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
