Felician University is seeking a dynamic Assistant Coach for Track & Field – Throws. The role supports the Head Coach, teaching and training student-athletes in throws at the Rutherford campus. This is a fully in-person, part-time appointment not to exceed 25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year collegiate coaching experience in Track & Field – Throws, strong written and verbal communications skills.
• proven ability to engage, motivate and direct a team of student athletes of diverse backgrounds and experience levels
• detail-oriented
• ability to instruct skills associated with Track & Field
• ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule which includes evenings and weekends
• ability to support and promote the Franciscan Felician mission and values of the University.
