Job summary

You will support strength & conditioning, assist with recruitment, and help manage program operations, travel, and competition preparation across the season.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Physical Education, Sports Management, or a related field.
• Two to five years of coaching or related experience in collegiate track and field.
• Experience recruiting student-athletes and developing strength and conditioning programs.
• Certifications such as CSCS, SCCC, or USA Weightlifting; USATF/USTFCCCA throws training; CPR/AED/First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary coach for track and field throwing events (shot put, discus, hammer/weight throw, javelin).
• Plan, organize and conduct practices for throwers in coordination with Head Coach.
• Develop and implement strength and conditioning programs for track and field athletes.
• Assist with recruitment of qualified prospective student-athletes, especially throwers.
