  • Work weeks can vary from 5-8 hour days to 4-10 hour days for the employee’s regular schedule.

Residential Thrower - Vogel Disposal Service, Inc. is seeking qualified throwers to work as a team with a driver to collect refuse from households daily.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Safely manually manipulate garbage cans or garbage containers.
  • Safely haul, lift, and load items and materials into the truck.
  • Assist the driver in backing situations to help guide and ensure safety while backing.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must pass a physical exam and drug screen.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend/twist, lift/carry required.
  • The ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs. is required.
  • This job is performed in and out of the truck. Employees are subject to weather elements daily; i.e. heat, sun, rain, snow, wind, etc.
