Job summary

Spring Branch Independent School District is seeking a THRIVE Teacher Assistant to support instructional activities in the THRIVE Program. The role partners with teachers to implement district educational programs and help students toward degree requirements and certification.

Candidates must have 48 college hours or a high school diploma with district assessment, plus Educational Aide Certification, and commit to the THRIVE program duration and SBISD requirements.

Qualifications

• Assist in communicating with parents.

Primary Purpose: The Spring Branch THRIVE Program allows individuals to engage in the world of teaching in partnership with Spring Branch ISD while working toward degree requirements and teacher certification completion. The THRIVE Teacher Assistant position assists teacher(s) in the implementation of District educational programs and activities under the teacher(s) direction. Upon successful completion of the THRIVE Program, individuals will be placed in classroom teaching positions. SBISD THRIVE Program participants must commit to continued employment in SBISD for a minimum of 3 years following completion of the THRIVE Program.
