Job summary

Iowa Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Family Well-Being & Protection, seeks a Community Services Program Manager for Thrive Iowa to lead prevention initiatives in the Community Services Bureau.

The role involves team collaboration, data analysis, and contract oversight to improve outcomes for children and families across Iowa. Some evenings and telework may be required with managerial approval.

Qualifications

• Experience with community health programs and prevention initiatives.
• Ability to analyze laws, rules, and data to inform programs.
• Ability to work with stakeholders and manage contracts.
• Willingness to work some evenings and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to support children, youth, and families and their communities.
• Analyze information, trends, and outcomes related to community development and public health.
• Plan data collection and program reporting strategies.
• Provide oversight of partnerships and contracts for programs.
• Support Thrive Iowa sites to ensure success.
• Present data to stakeholders and depict program effectiveness.
