Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory seeks a Retail Team member for the Boulder Thrift Store to promote a positive shopping and donor experience. You will help customers, stock items, and support donation operations.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, being 18+, ability to operate the POS system, and passing a background check. Stores run 7 days a week with flexible part-time schedules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Must be able to accurately handle POS/Cash Register operations and cash transactions.
• Must pass background check (Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry).
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers, and donors.
• High School or Equivalent (required).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and donors and provide prompt, courteous assistance.
• Stock priced items and merchandise the sales floor.
• Maintain store and donation area cleanliness and organization.
• Follow POS/Cash Register policies.
• Maintain safety and compliance standards.
• Attend monthly store meetings.
• Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory items.
• Provide QA by inspecting products for defects and damages.
• Assist donors with removal of donated items and provide receipts.
• Sort donated material into proper containers and stack as instructed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
