Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Stores in Illinois is seeking a Store Processor to help process and prepare donated goods for sale, blending warehouse tasks with merchandising and mission-driven work. You’ll support daily operations, price items, and ensure accurate donor receipts in a fast-paced environment.

Part-time hours, weekend availability, and a pay rate of $15.00–$16.00 per hour are typical, with a supportive team and opportunities for growth within the ministry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or currently pursuing.
• Strong English communication for team interactions.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.
• Professional appearance and dress code adherence.
• Must pass pre-employment background check.
• Reliable, team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise per guidelines.
• Track and report production numbers for locations.
• Move processed items to sales floor or shipping areas.
• Assist donors and complete donation receipts.
• Receive ARC Center Trucks and load/unload products.
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces.
• Meet daily production goals for processing and stocking.
