Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Operate the cash register and handle payments accurately.
• Count cash, give correct change, and balance the drawer.
• Follow cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures.
• Answer questions about merchandise and store policies.
• Receive donations courteously and process them.
• Sort and price donated items according to guidelines.
• Prepare merchandise for display and sale.
• Stock and rotate products on the sales floor.
• Maintain clean, organized displays and areas.
• Assist customers in locating items and move large items as needed.
• Keep checkout and donation areas tidy.
• Identify damaged or unsellable items per procedures.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures.
• Monitor floor for safety and maintenance issues.
• Report concerns to Store Manager.
• Work with staff and volunteers to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow organizational policies and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
