ReMix Market RVA, a unique Ashland-area thrift store, is seeking a mature, energetic, and dependable part-time associate to assist with daily store and retail operations (2-3 shifts per week). This customer-facing role requires someone who enjoys working with the public and has a pleasant, engaging personality. Experience in a thrift store environment is preferred. The ideal candidate should be comfortable engaging on social media platforms (Facebook & Instagram), updating and posting items, and responding to online, phone, and in-person inquiries.

Our fast-paced shop supports local charities through sales, attracting both new and loyal repeat customers. The position requires good physical condition, as you will help move small to large furniture items and assist in loading furniture into customers' vehicles. Store hours are Tuesday to Friday, 10 am to 6 pm, and Saturday, 9 am to 3 pm, with 2-3 shifts weekly, including some Saturdays. Knowledge of vintage furniture, antiques, and household items is required. You should also be comfortable operating a cash register (Square), answering inquiries, maintaining the store, and working collaboratively with your team on scheduling and business operations.
