Position Overview

ReMix Market RVA, a unique Ashland-area thrift store, is seeking a mature, energetic, and dependable part-time associate to assist with daily store and retail operations (2-3 shifts per week). This customer-facing role requires a friendly and engaging personality, with experience in thrift or antique stores preferred. Ideal candidates are energetic, inquisitive, and self-motivated, enjoying staying busy and helping others.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and customer service
• Handle routine store maintenance and upkeep
• Operate cash register (Square), answer phone inquiries
• Help move and load furniture and household items
• Support sales efforts and contribute to a positive shopping experience

Requirements

• Good physical condition and comfort moving furniture
• Interest and knowledge of vintage furniture, antiques, and household items
• Availability for Tuesday to Saturday hours (10am-6pm Tuesday-Friday, 9am-3pm Saturday)
• Enjoy working with the public and engaging with customers
