Thrift Store Associate (Floater) – Part‑time
Major Function
- Provide input and assistance with receiving, sorting, pricing, and hanging of clothing donations.
- Receive, sort, and stock/stage all incoming donations and provide support throughout store as needed.
- Maintain merchandising and product organization of shop floor.
- Rotate merchandise.
- Responsible for receiving, pricing and proper set up of all housewares.
- Cashier responsibilities as needed.
- Ensure that the store is well maintained, clean and inviting.
- Handle situations in a professional and responsible manner.
- Be able to work independently or as a team member.
- Follow all store opening and closing procedures.
- Follow CASA’s policies and procedures.
- Other related duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years of retail experience required.
- Experience in staging all types of products.
- Ability to climb stairs and lift at least 50 pounds.
- Possess a valid Florida State Driver’s License and proof of auto insurance to be annually verified.
- Agree to participate in a background check.
- Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines.
- Schedule may vary and may be required to work a flexible schedule.
- Ability to work independently or as a team member.
- All employees of CASA are considered “essential” and may be required to be on site and/or assist during emergencies and other critical times.
