Job Summary

Our associates at Red, White, and Blue Thrift perform a range of tasks essential to our retail operations. These positions require attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The roles are full-time, with medical benefits available after 90 days of employment. Brief descriptions of our positions are provided below.

Facilities Associates may be assigned to tasks such as unloading/loading trailers, operating a trash compactor and baling machine, and janitorial duties. This position is labor-intensive.

Production Associates may be involved in pre-sorting donations, sorting, pricing, hanging, tagging, attaching sensors, and distributing merchandise to the floor.

Sales Floor Associates roles include cashier, sales floor attendant, and donation center attendant.

Other available positions include box truck driver, dispatcher, and supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in thrift, retail, warehouse, back-of-house, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely perform job functions, including lifting up to 40-70 lbs, standing for extended periods, and manual dexterity
• Visual acuity and ability to work in a noisy, brightly lit environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers, donors, and colleagues

Language Requirements

• Fundamental understanding of written and spoken English is necessary for effective communication in interactions with customers and colleagues
