Job Summary

Our associates at Red, White, and Blue Thrift perform a range of tasks essential to our retail operations. These positions require attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The roles are full-time, with medical benefits available after 90 days of employment. Brief descriptions of our positions are provided below.

Facilities Associates may be assigned to tasks such as:

• Unloading and loading trailers
• Operating a trash compactor and baling machine
• Janitorial duties

Production Associates may handle:

• Pre-sorting donations
• Sorting, pricing, hanging, tagging, attaching sensors, and distributing merchandise

Sales Floor Associates roles include:

• Cashier duties
• Sales floor and donation center attendant roles

Additional positions include:

• Box Truck Driver
• Dispatcher
• Supervisor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous thrift, retail, warehouse, back-of-house, or customer-facing experience is preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely perform job functions, including lifting up to 70 lbs occasionally and exerting force up to 25 lbs frequently
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Manual dexterity and fine motor skills for repetitive tasks
• Balance, agility, visual acuity, and the ability to work in a noisy, brightly lit environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interactions with customers and colleagues
• Flexibility to switch tasks or departments as needed

Language Requirements

• Fundamental understanding of written and spoken English for instructions and communication, though not required to communicate exclusively in English
