Job summary

Hillcrestplatte in Missouri seeks a Thrift Operations Mgmt Position to oversee logistics and manage donations at their thrift store. This leadership role focuses on ensuring efficient operations and fostering a Christlike culture amongst staff while maintaining accountability and high standards.

Responsibilities include managing inventory processes, guiding the team, and ensuring customer service excellence. Full health benefits, PTO, and a 401(k) plan are offered, alongside a full-time schedule from Monday to Saturday.

Qualifications

• Understanding of donation processing, pricing, and inventory management.
• Ability to communicate effectively and empathize with staff, volunteers, and donors.
• Knowledge of evaluating items for resale.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues on the dock and find practical solutions.
• Capable of leading a diverse team with professionalism and compassion.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build strong team relationships.
• Assessing team members’ performance and providing constructive feedback.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort with retail/resale management systems and inventory tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Help manage guidance to intake processes and outgoing inventory.
• Manage Box Truck Pick-up Services and workflow maintenance.
• Foster a Christlike culture while maintaining high customer service standards.
• Oversee inventory practices including donation pick-up and stock tracking.
• Ensure efficient processing and movement of surplus items.
• Relocate inventory between locations as needed.
• Distribute overflow items in line with store guidelines.
