Job summary

10a Labs is seeking a Threat Investigator to join our Investigations Team. You will detect and respond to malicious uses and abuse, investigate activity, draft reports, and make recommendations. You’ll query data with SQL and Python and coordinate with internal stakeholders.

This is a remote, full-time position requiring US work authorization and Pacific Time hours. You will participate in on-call rotations and work across sensitive content areas, including child safety.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of investigative experience in Trust & Safety, National Security, Defense, Intelligence, or Law Enforcement.
• Willing to work on sensitive subject matter including child safety.
• U.S.-based with the ability to work West Coast hours (9am - 5pm PT).
• Strong SQL and Python proficiency.
• Ability to develop and maintain detection pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Proactively detect and reacquire bad actors on our platform.
• Investigate potentially policy-violating activity by querying internal data sources (SQL and Python) and cross-referencing OSINT.
• Document and share investigative findings with internal stakeholders.
