Job summary

10a Labs is seeking a Threat Investigator to support our Investigations Team in detecting and responding to harmful activity, drafting reports based on findings, and making actionable recommendations.

Applicants should have strong SQL and Python skills, experience investigating threat actors, and be comfortable handling sensitive content. This is a remote, full-time role in the United States with on-call responsibilities and Pacific Time hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of investigative experience in Trust & Safety, National Security, Defense, Intelligence, or Law Enforcement domains.
• Willing to work on sensitive subject matter including child safety.
• U.S.-based, with ability to work West Coast hours (9am–5pm PT).
• On-call availability outside normal hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong SQL and Python proficiency and/or additional programming skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively detect and reacquire bad actors on our platform.
• Investigate potentially policy-violating activity by querying internal data sources (SQL and Python) and cross-referencing OSINT.
• Document and share investigative findings with internal stakeholders.
