Job summary

Control Risks is seeking a researcher to conduct open-source intelligence research in support of a complex threat intelligence program. You will identify threats, gather information from OSINT, social media, and deep/dark web sources, and produce bespoke threat assessments with clear written analysis.

The role emphasizes researching topics to contribute to assessments, developing new information sources, and delivering high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of open-source intelligence collection and threat analysis.
• Ability to prepare concise written reports with strong attention to detail.
• Experience gathering and analysing information to produce timely, actionable intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research across multiple venues to identify threats and discourse surrounding clients.
• Identify trends in negative chatter surrounding clients.
• Gather information on individuals and groups threatening clients via open source, social media, and deep/dark web research.
• Deliver clear, concise written analysis for bespoke threat assessments.
• Develop capabilities to collect and analyse information in support of the team.
